Small Business Majority submits statement for the record highlighting the urgent challenges facing Main Street

On June 30, Small Business Majority submitted a statement for the record in response to a U.S. House Committee on Small Business hearing titled “250 Years of American Legacy: Small Businesses and the American Dream." While small businesses have been central to the American legacy over the last 250 years, the statement highlights how recent federal policy decisions, including tariffs, cuts to critical healthcare programs, and restrictive policies targeting immigrant entrepreneurs and workers, are driving up costs and threatening the stability and long-term viability of small businesses nationwide.
