New Mexico's small businesses are still reporting significant workforce shortages. Many businesses can't hire and those that do can struggle to retain their employees. So what are employees looking for and what can you do to ensure you have a readied workforce to support your small business? The answer: Offering competitive benefits like paid family leave and retirement.

Benefits that were once too expensive for most small business owners to afford are now more accessible through state run programs. Join Small Business Majority and guests from the Southwest Women's Law Center and the New Mexico Work and $ave Program for a webinar about current state-run retirement programs and the benefit of passing a state-run paid leave program.

Do you currently offer a retirement savings program to your employees? If not, you aren't alone. In fact, three in four small business owners don't offer a retirement savings plan.

There is a new option to help Illinois small business owners and employees to start saving for retirement that alleviates the financial and administrative burdens of traditional retirement savings plans. Illinois Secure Choice is a state-run IRA account, and per state law employers with five or more employees who have been in business for at least two years and don’t offer a tax-qualified retirement plan are required to register for and facilitate the program.

You have options for retirement programs for your employees. Join us for a conversation with Illinois Secure Choice Director, Christine Cheng as she talks about Illinois Secure Choice and how it is supporting the small business ecosystem.
