Under current law, deceptive trade practices must significantly affect the public in order to violate the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. On March 11, Small Business Majority testified in support of Senate Bill 25-157, strengthen protections against deceptive trade practices for Colorado’s small businesses and consumers while protecting small businesses from wrongful accusations.
