Small Business Majority outlines key government funding priorities for small businesses in FY27 appropriations letter

On April 14, Small Business Majority sent a letter to the U.S. House and Senate Appropriations Committees urging lawmakers to provide robust funding for the federal agencies and programs that support small businesses in fiscal year 2027. The letter calls on Congress to maintain and strengthen funding for the Small Business Administration’s entrepreneurial development programs, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) rural business programs, and key federal childcare programs like the Child Care and Development Block Grant.
