Elisa Molina

Elisa was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in the Bronx, and is now a trailblazing entrepreneur whose journey has been fueled by grit, cultura and a deep commitment to uplifting her community. Her path began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guaitil de Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, where she applied design thinking to create sustainable solutions for local microentrepreneurs. That formative experience inspired a bigger vision: to build a platform that amplifies the voices, art, and stories of women of color.
Elisa is the founder and CEO of COVEDOZA, an award-winning social impact brand that transcends fashion to become a cultural movement. Through COVEDOZA, she has created opportunities for Latina and women-of-color artists to showcase their work, monetize their creativity, and build generational wealth. Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Latino Small Business Resilience Award, the Hispanic Young Professionals & Entrepreneur Award, the Gwinnett Chamber Small Business Launch Award, Premio Líder Internacional, and the American Express and IFundWomen ‘Founders of Change’ grant.
As a first-generation entrepreneur, speaker, and mentor, Elisa has a deep understanding of the barriers that women of color face in accessing capital and business support. She is the host of JefaMom Podcast and Poder Latina CEO Podcast. She is also the co-founder of CrediGrants Academy. This financial education initiative equips Latino microentrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to build credit and successfully apply for grants.
