Women's Network of Northeast Ohio Joins Small Business Majority̢'s Strategic Partnership Program

Women's Network of Northeast Ohio members gain access to critical business information and government officials, with opportunities to advocate for small business in Washington, D.C.

Akron, Ohio—The Women's Network of Northeast Ohio has joined Small Business Majority's strategic partnership program—a network of more than 125 business organizations across the country working together to educate small business owners about national and state-level legislation and how it impacts their business.

The Women's Network of Northeast Ohio strives to be the force that brings women to the forefront at all levels of corporate, community, and civic leadership. Their mission is to connect, empower and inspire women.

Small Business Majority is a national small business advocacy organization, founded and run by small business owners to focus on the biggest problems facing small firms today.

"The Women's Network of Northeast Ohio is delighted to partner with Small Business Majority. It is important for us to partner with organizations that will provide our members with important information and updates on laws that impact small businesses," said Kirsten Lino, Board President of the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio. "We look forward to working with Small Business Majority to provide our members with even more critical information about the issues affecting them most, including healthcare, immigration reform, clean energy and more."

Through Small Business Majority's strategic partnership program, which reaches more than 500,000 small businesses nationwide, the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio members will be able to participate in a host of events, including "Business Leader Briefing" calls with high-level government officials and policy experts. They'll also have the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. to advocate on issues important to the small business community.
