MEDIA ADVISORY FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12: Small Business Majority, Springfield-Greene County Libraries to Host Small Business Resource Fair

WHAT: Small Business Majority and Springfield-Greene County Libraries are hosting a small business resource fair on Sept. 25 that will offer local resources and services designed to help entrepreneurs start, operate and expand their businesses. This event will offer invaluable insights and exclusive networking opportunities from a wide array of local business-support agencies, which will present information on topics including:

  • financial literacy

  • microloan programs

  • credit building

  • angel investing

  • rural programs and grants

  • technical assistance

The program will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to visit one-on-one with support agencies in the concourse area of the library.

This event is free, but advanced registration is requested. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 from 9:00am - 2:00pm CDT. Presentations will be from 9:00am until noon, followed by booths and networking until 2:00pm.
