Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Joins Small Business Majority̢??‰?s Strategic Partnership Program

Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber members gain access to critical business information and government officials, with opportunities to advocate for small business in Washington, D.C.

Portland, Ore., August 15, 2014̢??‰۝The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber and Small Business Majority announced today that the Chamber has joined Small Business Majority̢??‰?s strategic partnership program̢??‰۝a network of more than 100 business organizations across the country working together to educate small business owners about national and state-level legislation and how it impacts their business.

The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber, based in Portland, works with all members of the community to increase the economic advancement of Latinos in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Small Business Majority is a national nonpartisan small business organization, founded and run by small business owners to focus on the biggest problems facing small firms today.

̢???We are excited to join Small Business Majority̢??‰?s Strategic Partner Program,̢???? said Gale Castillo, president of the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber. ̢???We look forward to working with Small Business Majority to provide our members with even more critical information about the issues affecting them most, including healthcare, immigration reform, clean energy and more.̢????

Through Small Business Majority̢??‰?s strategic partnership program, which reaches more than 400,000 small businesses nationwide, Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber members will be able to participate in a host of events, including ̢???Business Leader Briefing̢???? calls with high-level government officials and policy experts. They̢??‰?ll also have the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. to advocate on issues important to the small business community.
