Small Business Policy Roundtable: Sustainable Recovery for All

In support of business and economic development, your organization is invited to participate in a policy roundtable on small business recovery hosted by Small Business Majority and North Branch Works. The discussion will focus on broad policies for an equitable and sustainable small business recovery, with a particular focus on supporting self-employed individuals and businesses with fewer than 25 employees. 

Policies for discussion will focus on those that:

• Enable start-up and sustainability by simplifying requirements and red tape
• Strengthen workplace benefit policies that enhance access job security and economic wellness for small business owners and their employees, such as healthcare, paid leave, savings and retirement
• Enhance economic development policies to also support small businesses
• Ensure equitable access to fair banking and capital for people of color, women, immigrants and rural owners
