Small Business Majority is hosting an upcoming call with Maria Contreras-Sweet, administrator of the Small Business Administration, to discuss the importance of Small Business Saturday. <br>This year's Small Business Saturday on November 29th will feature millions of consumers nationwide shopping at and supporting local small businesses. With nearly half of all consumers participating in Small Business Saturday last year, the Small Business Administration and Small Business Majority are working to keep promoting and building momentum around this important day. <br>Specifically, the SBA is helping spearhead for the first time an effort to extend the hours around Small Business Saturday, launching a new initiative for Small Business Saturday Night, encouraging consumers to visit local small business restaurants and watering holes.
