Small Business Majority in partnership with the EDC Business & Community Partners, is celebrating National Women's Small Business Month.


Women are starting small businesses at a higher rate than men, and their businesses are generating jobs and business revenues above the national average. Supporting female entrepreneurs, especially women of color, has the potential to unlock tremendous growth for our communities. These businesses continue to be an immovable force in the community, using their voices to heal, educate, empower others and activate change. 

Small Business Majority and EDC Business & Community Partners invite you to an educational 1/2 day workshop: Empowering Women in Small Business. 

Presentation topics include:
  • Leading a multi-generational team that includes your staff, vendors, and clients 
  • The Affordable Care Act and how to implement a low-cost wellness program for your business 
  • Small business retirement plan options 
  • Helpful tools and resources to take with you and implement
