Join the California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) at the state Capitol's West Steps for a press conference on Wednesday, Wednesday, January 14, 11:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. in response to the Governor's Proposed State Budget FY 2026-27.
We will be uplifting the urgent need to protect and increase state investments in Medi-Cal to ensure access to health care for all, California's deportation defense services to defend children, workers, and families from mass deportations, and economic mobility initiatives to support immigrant entrepreneurs.
We will be joined by community leaders, impacted community members and legislators.
