The brief argues that efforts to enable any business to circumvent regulatory statute of limitations would create uncertainty and confusion for businesses seeking to remain in compliance with the law.

The brief argues that the state's restrictive abortion bans are bad for the business community and are having a negative impact on the state’s economy—including an estimated $14.5 billion in lost revenue each year.
