Please join the Denver Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Majority for an educational breakfast session on what's next for small business healthcare.

After the failure of the American Health Care Act, the Republican plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (also known as the ACA or “Obamacare”), many small business owners are wondering about the future of their healthcare options. Now that the ACA will continue to be the law of the land, we’ll explain what this means for small businesses. We’ll also provide an overview of the ACA’s federal and state provisions to help local small business owners understand how the healthcare law affects them.

Specific topics include:

  • Overview of the healthcare law
  • What’s next for healthcare reform
  • Small business tax credits (available to businesses and tax-exempt non-profits)— who’s eligible for them and how to claim them
  • Cost containment and other consumer protections
  • Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law
