Capital is critical for entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses. A regionally healthy small businesses community is essential for sustainable economic development and neighborhood revitalization. Entrepreneurs need access to capital, networks and guidance as they grow.
To address this issue, the Florida Small Business Development Center at Indian River State College, the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, and the Economic Development Center of St. Lucie County have come together to begin discussing the creation of public-private partnerships to build permanent capital access tools in our communities. Small Business Majority's Vice President of Engagement, Xiomara Peña has been invited as a Keynote Speaker to discuss national trends in small business lending and the power of ecosystem building.
