We are a tea room specializing in afternoon tea service, bakery items, coffee, and tea! We offer gift certificates, gift bundles, and a small retail selection of antiques, local tea, coffee, honey, and art.

Our 3-course tea service features our trademarked dessert, the Original Sconoli™, tea sandwiches, fruit, cheese, & sweets. We also offer a selection of homemade baked items in our tea room during regular business hours.

Fruit goes into the blender & a magical delicious frozen treat comes out! Ba-Nom-a-Nom is dairy free (vegan), gluten free, nut free, sugar free, fat free, & egg free by nature. Our toppings are all vegan, and everything on the truck is gluten free (except our granola). Our product is diabetic friendly due to only containing fruit sugar.

Our small batch chocolate is made from sustainable, ethically-grown cacao from small farms throughout the Americas and East Africa. We imagine an alternate universe where the celebration and appreciation of diverse cultures and peoples, and in particular Black culture and Black people, are a normal part of everyday life. We then imagine products that would exist in that world and create them here. The hope is that by doing so, we can help make this world a little better.

Our products are sold in boutiques and museum shops around the world. We design all our products in house. While we use manufacturers from all over the world, we are proudly based in Washington DC. All orders are packed and shipped from our studio in the upper NW quadrant of the city.
