All a. favorite design goods are designed in Chicago by owner Amber J Favorite. Greeting cards are carefully letterpress printed by Amber in her Chicago studio. Each card is a labor of love, hand-fed on her 1913 press, one sheet at a time, one color printed each time. Every card passes through the press two to three times.

The a. favorite design brick and mortar has a curated selection of fine stationery and office goods. The shop is filled with journals, stickers, fountain pens, gel pens, markers, pencils, prints, gift wrap and all things stationery. Located in Albany Park, next to the fire station on Kedzie Avenue.

Every holiday season we promote our buy 1, give 1. With every blanket purchase, we will donate a blanket to a child in need at the USA/Mexico border.

At Don Bugito we are committed to shaping the future by changing the way we eat. Our vision is simple, to rescue ancestral food practices and the use of clean ingredients by offering alternative protein snacks based on farmed edible insects and Native American ingredients.

Don Bugito's inspiration comes directly from my cultural heritage. Growing up in Mexico exposed me to the culturally rich traditions of eating edible insects and their use as “power foods”. Empowered by this ancestral food and their healthy, sustainable and nutritional qualities, I embarked on the journey of sharing with the world a little taste of my culture by creating a set of “power” snacks for everyone to enjoy!
