These standards include a host of provisions included in the Clean Air Act. <br>In 1970, the Clean Air Act was enacted by a bipartisan group of lawmakers and signed into law by President Nixon. Yet 40 years later, many provisions haven't been addressed or implemented. The EPA is preparing regulatory guidelines on 5 of those previously unaddressed provisions: the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE
