As part of Centennial State Prosperity and Small Business Majority’s pilot small business community dialogue series, CSP and SBM will partner with First Southwest Community Fund and other rural-based small business organizations to conduct an intentional community listening session in Alamosa, Colorado with a diverse range of small business owners and entrepreneurs based in the San Luis Valley. The session will be led by a community-based small business leader engaging participants in conversation around shared community values, experiences, challenges, and opportunities for change. CSP and Small Business Majority will publish and release a report ahead of the upcoming legislative session and continue our work with state-level advocacy organizations to address challenges and help form a more equitable feedback loop between Colorado’s small business communities and decision makers to ensure solutions are grounded in local needs.
