It’s been nearly a month since the CARES Act was enacted and the aid is now starting to reach businesses and families, but is it enough to weather this crisis? As expected, the Paycheck Protection Program has been depleted due to the significant demand.

Join us and the LA Area Chamber for a discussion on the Act’s early impact. We’ll also reflect on the shortfalls, particularly the impacts to small businesses and the underbanked. This discussion will inform our continued advocacy efforts at the Nation’s Capitol.

Moderated by the LA Area Chamber of Commerce

Panelists:

  • Jennings Imel, Western Regional Manager, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
  • Justin Schardin, Legislative Assistant, Economic Policy Advisor for Senator Dianne Feinstein
  • Xiomara Peña, California Program Director, Small Business Majority
