CABC Policy Forum

Please join the California Asset Building Coalition (CABC) as Small Business Majority presents potential policy proposals to CABC membership. Members and allies will use "Member-Defined Policy Goals", described below, to select the policy proposals on which CABC should advocate. During the Policy Forum, we will learn about and vote on eight policy proposals that build assets for California communities.

Topics of discussion include:

• Making health care more affordable for small business owners
• Improving the Paid Family Leave Program by raising wage-replacement rates
• Expanding small business owner access to retirement, like CalSavers
• Raising the California Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for taxpayers
• Allowing excluded workers to access unemployment benefits
