The Administration has recently announced new rules altering provisions of the Affordable Care Act (also known as “Obamacare”), and many small businesses are wondering what this means for the future of their healthcare. In this presentation, we’ll explain recent changes to the law and how the ACA impacts small businesses. We’ll also provide an overview of both federal and state provisions affecting small businesses and resources and tools for accessing health coverage. 
 
Specific topics include:

  • Overview of the healthcare law 
  • What is happening in California vs federal regulations 
  • Health marketplace updates
  • Small business tax credits (available to businesses and tax-exempt non-profits)—who’s eligible for them and how to claim them
  • Open enrollment for 2020
  • Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law
