Forge Columbus members gain access to critical business information and government officials, with opportunities to advocate for small business in Washington, D.C.

Columbus, Ohio—Forge Columbus has joined Small Business Majority's strategic partnership program-a network of more than 100 business organizations across the country working together to educate small business owners about national and state-level legislation and how it impacts their business.

Forge Columbus strengthens community business in Columbus by investing in entrepreneurs who give back to their community. Their mission is supported by a grassroots brigade of citizens who Buy Local and invest in community business.

Small Business Majority is a national small business advocacy organization, founded and run by small business owners to focus on the biggest problems facing small firms today.

"Forge Columbus is delighted to partner with Small Business Majority. It is important for us to partner with organizations that will provide our members with important information and updates on laws that impact small businesses," said Reese Neader, Founder and CEO of Forge Columbus. "We look forward to working with Small Business Majority to provide our members with even more critical information about the issues affecting them most, including healthcare, immigration reform, clean energy and more."

Through Small Business Majority's strategic partnership program, which reaches more than 500,000 small businesses nationwide, Forge Columbus members will be able to participate in a host of events, including "Business Leader Briefing" calls with high-level government officials and policy experts. They'll also have the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. to advocate on issues important to the small business community.

"We're thrilled to have Forge Columbus join our strategic partnership program," said Michaela Hahn Burriss, Ohio Outreach Manager for Small Business Majority. "We look forward to working with the organization and its members to continue to make small business voices heard from the Main Streets of America to the corridors of Capitol Hill."
