The Office of Health Care Affordability (OHCA) was set up to define spending targets that use real wages to decide what healthcare is "affordable" for small business owners like you.

Please join Small Business Majority and the Office of Health Care Affordability (OHCA) Board for a listening session with OHCA Board Members on how healthcare spending impacts your small business. During the session, you can express the real human impacts of high healthcare costs for small business.  

We will ask:

• Was the cost of healthcare a consideration of yours when you started your business?
• As an employer, how has the cost of healthcare affected choices you've had to make about hiring? Have healthcare costs have affected your choice to hire or expand your business? Has it affected your ability to raise wages?
• How are you grappling with ever-increasing health care costs? How have increasing healthcare costs impacted your personal life, outside of your business?
