East LA Access to Safe Banking for Spanish

This webinar is part of a series of events to follow up on opportunities uncovered during a 2021 FDIC listening session for East L.A. The event promotes sustainable collaborations among community stakeholders to increase trust in the US banking system among Spanish-speaking Latinos. The event will feature resources and programs from community and financial institutions with the capacity and track record to help language and culturally-challenged Latinos access safe and affordable banking. The event focuses on fostering long-term partnerships among banks, credit unions, CDFI, CBOs and Faith-based organizations, that result in unbanked LMI Spanish-speakers establishing depository relationships with insured financial institutions.
