Event open to all small businesses; chance for entrepreneurs to learn about new small business and individual marketplaces, how to enroll, and receive assistance to help enroll and qualify for help to pay for coverage

CHICAGO—Enroll America, Health & Disability Advocates and the Campaign for Better Healthcare, in conjunction with small business organization Small Business Majority, will host an enrollment event on Saturday, February 7, 2015 for the self-employed, small business owners and small business employees before the close of the health insurance marketplace on February 15.

The free event, which is open to all small business owners, will feature state and/or federally certified enrollment assistors to help explain how the marketplace functions, how small business owners and employees can get health coverage and qualify for help to pay for coverage.

"Access to these new options, either the small business portal or the individual marketplace, will provide new options for many entrepreneurs to obtain health insurance for their families and their employees," said Jesse Greenberg, Director of the Midwest & West for Small Business Majority. "Events like these help small business owners get the information they need to make informed decisions."

The event will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. Small business owners can register for the event online at: https://www.getcoveredamerica.org/connector/?location=17698.
