Amy Chong serves as Small Business Majority’s Entrepreneurship Research Associate, researching policies and other issues surrounding small business and entrepreneurship, through internal and external surveys, polls, research analysis and synthesis.
Amy began her career as a grassroots organizer for the American Federation of Teachers. She previously served as a legislative and communications intern for the California State Assembly, a communications/press intern for former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, a congressional fellow for Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard and an intern for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. She was a Coro Public Affairs Fellow and gained invaluable experience in the sustainability, real estate development, human-centered design and public health fields. Amy is from South Korea, raised in Los Angeles, and obtained her Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Southern California.
