This year, my hot sauce journey led me from Sonoma County, to the pepper fields of Latin America and ended with the 100-year-old hot sauce traditions of the deep south. Due to wildfires, water rations, bottle shortages, lack of access to land and a worldwide pandemic, I realized I can no longer grow, de-stem and blend every pepper by myself. While I refused to give up, I knew I needed help. Seeking a sustainable way to keep my small business alive during these challenging climate changes, I returned to my hispanic heritage and southern roots. Every single bottle we made this year was cold filled with all natural, sustainably sourced, regeneratively farmed medium hot peppers, grown on small plots that teach women how to farm sustainably, so they can support their children and communities through healthy pesticide free farming practices. I hope by creating these alliances, I'm also creating a business that is focused on growing community and local economies, while regenerating the earth through sustainable farming practices that enrich the lives and families of the people who live, breathe and love peppers like you do.

munchrooms is dedicated to making healthier snacking more achievable and sustainable with our 100% vegan meat-alternative jerky made from shiitake mushrooms. We currently have 4 delicious flavors: 5 spices, hot + spicy chili pepper, cracked black pepper, and smoked teriyaki. We want to provide people more plant-based alternatives when it comes to meat snacks that are good for their body and the planet. Katerina NYC creates handmade leather and fabric handbags locally here in our studio in Brooklyn, New York. We use genuine Italian leather that is sourced locally and from Pisa, Italy, and vegan cactus leather sourced from Mexico. All items are handmade in small batches. We accept custom orders.
