California League of Cities: Policy debrief with Small Business Majority

• Small Business Majority will present to the California League of Cities Revenue and Taxation Policy Committee about how the League can support small business owners through the League's local advocacy efforts in the Legislature, at the ballot box, and in the courts. City officials will then debate, shape, and steer Cal Cities’ policy-making process.

Topics of discussion include:

• The state of small and micro business owners in California
• The California Rebuilding Fund and how Cal Cities members can use the Fund to invest in their small business owners
• How Cal Cities can design education and training programs which will teach city officials about new developments for small business owners in their cities

The Revenue and Taxation Policy Committee reviews issues related to finance, administration, taxation, revenue needs, and revenue sources at the federal, state, and local levels.
