Washington, DC — Today, Small Business Majority Founder and CEO John Arensmeyer called on U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Small Business Administrator Jovita Carranza to develop an oversight mechanism of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). In a letter sent to the Administration, Small Business Majority proposed a straightforward approach to collecting relevant borrower information, while making publicly available only the full data of the highest 15% of borrowers.

Statement from John Arensmeyer, Founder and CEO at Small Business Majority on the United States Supreme Court ruling that no longer can an individual be discriminated against based on their gender identity or sexual orientation.
“America’s economy is strongest when it is diverse and inclusive. At no time is this more evident than today, as we collectively dedicate ourselves to building a truly equitable society, free from systemic racism and other forms of discrimination. As such, we applaud the Supreme Court’s landmark 6-3 decision that civil rights laws include members of the LGBTQ+ community in the workplace.
