On March 28, Small Business Majority Colorado Director Hunter Nelson sent a letter to the Colorado House in support of HB 25-1174. This legislation would establish reimbursement limits for prices paid to certain hospitals through the small group market, resulting in lower healthcare costs for small businesses in Colorado.
Today, Public Policy Director Awesta Sarkash, submitted a letter of support to the Minnesota House Health Finance & Policy Committee on HF 1100, which would keep pharmacies open in Minnesota’s rural and underserved communities through directed pharmacy dispensing payment lifelines. Small Business Majority is pleased to support AB 280 (Aguiar-Curry), which requires provider directories to be accurate, mandates verification of accuracy, and ties existing provider directory requirements to accuracy benchmarks for health plans to serve as an enforcement mechanism.
