Paid Family Leave Listening Session

Please join Small Business Majority as we host a virtual listening session to hear directly from small business owners in Southern California about California’s Paid Family Leave Program.

We are looking for small business owners with one to ten full time employee (s) to join us to share your experience and perspectives. In this discussion, we hope to hear from you about:

• Have you ever had an employee request to take time off work to care for a sick family member, or to bond with a new baby? 
• Have you ever had an employee take time off work to care for a sick family member, or to bond with a new baby? a. If so, did the employee utilize the California Paid Family Leave Program? 
• Do you have any type of leave policy at your business? If so, is it formal (written down) or informal? 
• Have you ever paid an employee when on leave? If so, how much did you pay them?
• Have you taken advantage of the Paid Family Leave Grant?

This feedback will inform our organization on preparation for outreach strategies, programmatic needs, technical assistance, and accessible program delivery for California small business owners.
