This year, we continued to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs about important resources, funding options, policy updates and more that could help their businesses recover from the ongoing pandemic and become more resilient. Over the course of the year, we hosted and participated in more than 430 events, partnering with more than 300 organizations and stakeholders. These events garnered more than 20,000 event registrants  and indirectly reached 150,000 individuals.

Small Business Majority recently released new survey data shining a light on how supply chain disruptions are impacting small businesses during the crucial fourth quarter of 2021, as well as their views on the Biden administration's COVID-19 vaccination requirement for businesses with 100 or more employees, and key components in the Build Back Better plan that are being negotiated in the U.S. Senate.

Over on our resource portal Venturize, we are compiling relevant tips, resources and information on new funding opportunities for small businesses affected by COVID-19. We are posting regular updates to this page with useful information about funding opportunities available, tips and resources on building a more resilient business, and how to support your employees.

Small Business Majority recently launched its new Alliance for a Resilient Small Business Economy to convene a diverse group of partner organizations in pursuit of a common goal: To break down systemic barriers that currently block equitable access to business capital and assistance.

Tax expert Talibah Bayles started her career in a big way, working for the FBI in Washington, D.C, but in 2006 she decided to move back to her hometown of Birmingham, Ala. and launch her own business so she could focus on taking care of her young family. While Birmingham is a much smaller city, Talibah was determined to make a big impact on her community.
