Access to capital remains a substantial barrier to achieving sustainable growth and innovation for small businesses nationwide. To bridge this capital gap, the federal government offers a suite of resources and programs to help entrepreneurs access funding streams to help start and grow their businesses. Please join Small Business Majority and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation for an informative webinar that will discuss how the SEC is addressing capital formation needs and advancing small business interests. The SEC’s Small Business Advocacy team will provide a walk-through of their Capital Raising Hub and Interactive Navigator Tool designed to help small business owners and their investors break into new capital markets. This briefing will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to engage the SEC team directly through a Q&A. Attendees will also have the opportunity to schedule follow-up meetings with the SEC team to learn more about how the SEC can help their business’ unique needs.
