Improve the health and wealth of your small business

Small Business Majority is a national small business education and advocacy organization, with offices in St. Louis and Springfield. We actively engage small business owners across America to drive smart public policy and get entrepreneurs the resources they need to thrive.

For small business owners who often work day-in and day-out with the same people for years, employees feel like family. And while many small businesses want to help their employees lead healthier and happier lives, they often don’t have the resources to do so. That’s why Small Business Majority has committed to providing multiple free educational opportunities and programs in Missouri, focusing on small business!

In January 2017, Small Business Majority launched a new wellness resource portal and an event series in Missouri! Our new Workplace Wellness Portal offers an abundance of resources to help you implement a simple and easy-to-follow wellness program at your small business. Along with our wellness event series, consisting of webinars and in-person events, the portal also has a comprehensive toolkit that includes helpful research, tips and best practices for starting a wellness program.

To help small businesses take the next step, we’re hosting an eight-week long wellness competition in Missouri beginning next month! During our Healthy Business, Healthy Community Wellness Challenge, small businesses in southwest Missouri will compete against businesses in the St. Louis region. Teams will participate in healthy activities and record them through Wellable, a new fitness and nutrition-tracking program, for free. Special prizes, provided by local sponsors, will be awarded at the end of the competition to the winning team.  Sign up today to be a part of the Challenge!

In addition to our workplace wellness programs, we’re providing a new education series focusing on increasing revenue though health and financial literacy. This program is designed to help you and your employees stop stressing about your health and financial future while optimizing your business. This three-part series is a collaboration between local experts in the topics of: access to capital, retirement security, health literacy and healthcare options, workplace wellness, signs of predatory lending, optimizing your credit score, and low-cost professional development strategies.

With our new resource portal, wellness competition and educational event series, there are lots of opportunities to learn more and get involved!
